Store Manager
Palm Beach, FL / Full Time

The Julia Amory team is looking to add an enthusiastic Store Manager to help transition our by-appointment-only Palm Beach Showroom into our first flagship retail location. This person will own the entire in-store experience including, but not limited to, inventory management; visual merchandising; day-to-day retail operations; clienteling; store staffing; and facilities maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a “no task is too big or too small” attitude, who enjoys wearing many hats, and flexing up and down as needed. S/he should feel passionately about the Julia Amory brand, and comfortable taking initiative with very little direction. This person will ultimately be excited and highly motivated to grow the in-store experience for the brand and be at the forefront of an exciting new chapter for JA!  


Julia Amory is a high-growth home, apparel, and accessories brand featuring imported, hand-printed and embroidered fabrics. JA was founded in 2017 and has found tremendous success and growth connecting with customers throughout the US and internationally. As a primarily eCommerce business, JA is ready to establish a new permanent brick-and-mortar presence to create a seamless omnichannel experience.  


  • INVENTORY MANAGEMENT Oversee all inventory management, including but not limited to, placing orders for both new products and replenishment of best sellers, and using both quantitative and qualitative analyses to make recommendations for retail inventories.
  • CLIENTELING Providing white-glove customer service to both new and existing customers. The candidate will serve as the ultimate hostess and face of the JA brand to retail customers. As such, every guest should be welcomed into the store as you would welcome them into your home. This includes sharing our brand story with those who may not be familiar with it, understanding who our guests are and what attracted them to JA, and understanding how you can best assist them during their visit.
  • MERCHANDISING Visual merchandising of the storefront. This person should feel comfortable remerchandising the storefront frequently to keep the product feeling fresh and exciting.
  • CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & SERVICE The ideal candidate will feel confident problem solving in real time, answering any questions customers may have, and sharing customer feedback and/or concerns with the corporate team to continuously improve the business. Assist the corporate customer service lead when needed.
  • IN-STORE EVENT PLANNING Responsible for planning, executing, and managing both in-store events as well as off-location pop-ups & trunk shows.
  • RETAIL LEAD The candidate will be the go-to person for all things related to the store - this means mastering the ins and outs of the JA retail experience. Additionally, s/he will work closely with the corporate team on the eCommerce side to help create a seamless omni-channel experience for our customers.   


  • 3-5 years of retail experience required; 1-2 years of managerial experience preferred.
  • Possesses strong EQ and demonstrates high-level communication skills;
  • Patient, genuine, positive, and approachable;
  • A “people person” and passionate about the customer experience;
  • A strategic problem solver, self-motivated, and organized;
  • Takes initiative and “owns” a project from start to finish;
  • Possesses a strong sense of integrity and accountability;
  • Thrives in a small, close-knit team.


  • Work from our little gem of a store located on the island of Palm Beach during store hours (generally Tuesday-Saturday, though flexibility is required based on needs of the business).
